ABOUT US
history
Linang PH was founded by two Grade 10 students looking to make a difference. With the understanding that education should be a right and not a privilege, they took it upon themselves to extend their knowledge and break boundaries among the youth.
VISION MISSION
.... Vision
In the service of the Filipino youth, LINANG PHILIPPINES is determined to encourage others to explore the roots of contemporary issues. We aim to provide accessible education to the masses, especially towards social controversies.
.... Mission
1. continually raise awareness to the Filipino people towards contemporary issues that are dismantling the order and peace of the Philippine society;
2. proactively participate in the rally against the ignorance and prejudice to the organization's current 5 Cardinal Advocacies; and
3. showcase and train the skills and talent of the Filipino youth through means of organizational work, event management and public action.

behind the name
Linang
.... verb. to develop
.... noun. uncultivated soil
“We chose the name Linang for it’s symbolic relation to how we see the youth and our nation as a whole.
We see the Philippines as land that is rich, but underestimated. We believe that the youth are like seedlings, waiting to sprout, but constantly denied opportunity.
We see ourselves, and those who advocate for education, as farmers. We want to help the masses understand what we are capable of.
We want to challenge the youth to think deeper, and develop their minds alongside our own developing country. We want to cultivate the soil, that they may grow exponentially.”
.

Education
.... We believe that education must be an accessible asset to the masses, that the youth may become well-rounded citizens of our society, who understand the world around them.
Equality
.... We believe that there should be no discrimination towards marginalized groups for deviating from societal norms. Equality is a right that we believe should span across human beings for the sole reason that we are human beings.
Emotional Wellbeing
.... We believe this refers to one’s mental state, and the ability for us to cope with our life through our emotions. We believe that one’s mental health should be expressed in a safe environment, not suppressed.
Environmental Awareness
.... With the world undergoing continuous changes in climate due to pollution, we believe that we have to make a stand towards the corporations that contribute greatly to the destruction of the environment and to do our own little parts to preserve and protect our planet.
Human Rights
.... These are defined as basic freedoms that should be made accessible to all human beings.
